A representative carved library from a massive oak, dating from the Lutyšské art and craft workshops.

Description

A representative carved library from a massive oak, dating from the Lutyšské art and craft workshops. Was made around the year 1820 from the selection oak wood, that is characterized by high hardness, beautiful drawing and long life. The fronts are decorated with hand carving with rich plant motifs and decorative details. Practical three doors are complemented by two lower drawers with plastic carving. The door is glazed, allowing elegant presentation of books or collections. The interior of the library is divided by shelves, that provide enough space to store objects.

The construction is solved by classic techniques - on the groove, pin and pegs - which ensures strength and long life. Robust brass fittings underline the quality of processing. The library stands on the turning of the "balls". Preserved in good original condition, without an infestation of woodworm.
