This gorgeous tapestry is a faithful replica of a historical pattern from 15. century, handmade in world -famous Robert Four workshops in Aubusson. This is a top reconstruction of the medieval motif “Parc Enchanté” (A vicious park), which is woven by traditional methods using quality wool and flax.
The motif captures the idyllic scene from the medieval garden, nobles, shepherd, Hunters and exotic animals. Typical are rich colors and details depicting period clothing, natural elements and ornamental Gothic gates. The castle is looming in the background, which gives the whole composition a romantic atmosphere.
The tapestry is lined with a distinctive decorative bordure, which beautifully frames the scene and underlines its historical character. On the back is the original marking of Robert Four workshop, confirming its authenticity and quality design.
