Description
An impressive frame from the Biedermeier period (1. polovina 19. century), originally designed for large -format oil on canvas. The frame is made of wood and equipped with a richly plastic decorated finish in gold color.
The gilded surface is in places patinated and slightly worn out, Which underlines its authenticity and historical character. The frame is decorated with classic flower motifs, palmet, Perlovce and Volut in the corners and on longer sides. Fine inner border is also distinctive (so -called. a pearl strip) lining for an image.
The back side is original, with significant traces of the original attachment of painting. Suitable as a representative accessory for gallery presentation, historical interior, as a luxury frame for new art creation or as a frame for a mirror.
