Description
This Eldowo salon turntable, probably made in France, is an example of precise craftsmanship and elegance. Powered by a manually wound spring mechanism, this gem is housed in a beautiful veneered oak cabinet on elegant, rococo shaped legs.
The sound travels through the wood oven, which is hidden behind a decorative grille in the front. The front door is equipped with a functional lock, and opening this door allows full volume to be achieved. The inner space is used to store game boards – old shellac boards, which are suitable for this type of device.
This gramophone is not only a proof of technical skill, but also a representative piece of furniture, which also meets the aesthetic requirements of the time.
