This elegant sculpture of white marble depicts the classic scene of ancient mythology - the goddess of love Venus (Aphrodite) Malp's love (Erotem), winged god of love. Both characters are portrayed with fine sensuality and sensitivity. Amor, shown as a child with wings, she prints gently to Venus, that sits on a richly processed seat reminiscent of a marble throne with a drapery. Her view and gestures radiate maternal love and ancient ideal of beauty.
The lower part of the sculpture is complemented by two doves - the symbols of Venus - which are harmoniously closing the overall scene. The whole work gives a calm and intimate impression and reflects a high level of art-craft processing.
