An elegant set consisting of a porcelain pot and a high column base. The whole set is led in black glaze with a rich peacock decor between flowering branches. Details of painting are made with fine precision and complemented by gold lines, that underline the luxury look of the whole. Peacock is a symbol of beauty in Chinese culture, dignity and immortality.
The set is marked with a stylized mark on the underside, typical for Chinese export porcelain of the second half 20. century. Excellent condition without cracks or taps.
Suitable as a decorative solitary element in a historic or modern interior.
