Georges Goldkorn was born in the village Szyglovice in Poland in 1905 and he died in Paris in 1977.
Georges Goldkorn raised in a Hasidic family and up to fifteen years studying the Jewish religion. after graduation, advice expressionist painter Henryka Gottlieba, despite the opposition of parents went to the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 1927 Young Goldkorn entered into the Royal Academy of Brussels. A year later, followed by Isidore Opsomer and Rik Wooterse at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In 1940, during the Nazi invasion of Belgium, He went into exile in France, where he is settling permanently.
