Description
Hand-knotted carpet from Persian Tabriz with an atypical pattern. Rich plant decor. Central field in blue base with oval medallion and framing. Pleasant color of the carpet. The carpet is woven from fine wool on a cotton warp. High bond density around 360.000 uzlíků per m2. State: good, minor moth damage on edge, but it is not very visible – see photo and the carpet is generally treated. The carpet is cleaned. dating: around 1995. Provenience: Iran – Tabriz.
