Description
Hand -bound Persian carpet of wise. The city of Mour lies south of Mashad in northeastern Iran. Carpets from this area are known for their quality binding and high resistance of meat alpine wave. This carpet has a typical central medallion motif in a center field with a haret pattern (infinite, repetitive pattern). The color of the carpet is also classic for carpets made of wise when the base in cream color in combination with blue color. The carpet is in good condition with no worn out places, is cleaned, fringes are also fine. The density of the binding is higher and reaches approximately 250.000 knots no m2. On the back is the original certificate from the carpet shop in the Belgian Oostende. dating: around 1990.
