Description
Verstreken Jules was born in 1882 and died in 1961. This painting is a typical work of Jules Verstreken in the post-impressionist style where he paints subjects of agricultural landscapes and landscapes with water streams in the moonlight. It sensitively records color. In his later years he painted larger canvases with motifs from around Kempenvennen and Heathland. Provenience: Belgium. dating: around 1935. State: excellent. Technique: oil on canvas. The painting is signed in the lower left corner.
