Description
Representative Renaissance Benches with a high backrest and rich carved decor. Decoration includes classic motifs of acantic leaves, trip, Flower Elces and Stylized Heraldic Ornaments. The bench is conceived with an emphasis on symmetry and monumentality, typical for the historicizing style of the second half 19. century.
The backrest is three -part, divided pilasters and framed by profiled moldings. The central field is easier, While the side panels carry a deep plant relief. The upper ledge is a significantly transplanted and equipped with a strip carving with the motif of stylized arcades and palmet. The armrests rest on turning supporting elements and complete the overall monumentality of the piece.
The seating part of the bench is hinged and hides a full storage space. The front is divided by three cassette fillings in the frame. The bench stands on distinctive shaped legs. The surface treatment underlines the natural drawing of wood and its color depth.
