Luxurious Art Nouveau dining room from 1904

Description

The dining room was partially presented at the state exhibition in Paris in 1904 and appears in the salon publication 1904. The whole dining room is handmade from solid walnut with a rich plant decor with brass handles in the same design. It was the best artistic and craft quality of the time, which could be ordered. The dining room was made for a French villa of a very wealthy family. Everything is elaborated in detail. It is a set of a folding dining table with eight chairs, large sideboard and buffet with superstructure. The chairs have original leather upholstery – is not in good condition and we will arrange restoration as required ( leather or fabric), There are newly completed folding partitions to the table – originally it was just wooden boards, which was covered by a tablecloth as the table was laid out. The keys and sideboard are finished with keys – locks are functional. The wood is not attacked by wood-destroying insects. After upholstering the chairs, the dining room will be in perfect condition – suitable for daily use. Similar quality rarely occurs. Provenience: France.
