Oil on canvas. The painting is signed and dated in the lower left corner. On the back is the note Frans van de Velde 1849 – 1916. Bitva U Sedanu 1870. It was Prussia – French war and this battle went 1. September near the French city of Sedan, when the Prussian troops led by William I. Prussian defeated French troops led by Napoleon III, that was captured in battle. State: good, unclean. The frame is wooden massive without woodworm.
