Emile Lammers (1914–1990) He was a Belgian painter, which became famous mainly by landscapes, by urban scenery and naval motifs. He was born and died in the Belgian Saint-Josse-Ten-Nood and his artistic development influenced the study at the painter P. Mathieua.
Lammers focused on capturing the atmosphere of the Belgian environment, while his works often portray coastal landscapes, views of ports and urban scenes. His work is associated with post -war and contemporary art. Emil Lammers' works are sought after by collectors and regularly appear at auctions, where they reach diverse prices depending on the size and technique used. The highest achieved price for his work was 4 000 USD, specifically for the picture “Smashing Waves” year 2015.
