Bronze statue of a dancer on a marble plinth. More modern detailed processing – cast in lost wax. The statue was designed by the Romanian artist Demeter Haralambo Chiparus who lived in 1886 when 1947 and was one of the leading sculptors of the Art Deco period, attended schools in Italy and France, where he created his most famous sculptures in the period after the First World War. This sculpture of a Russian dancer is a classic Chiparus work. State: excellent. Provenience: Europe. dating: second half 20. century.
